Lorac 3D Multiplex Lip gloss

Lorac Lip Gloss Multiplex 3-D in 3D (Rose Bronze with 3D Glitter)
Pce: $22
paraben-free Lip Gloss contains holographic pigments for multidimensional, high-lacquer shine and vibrant, long-lasting color.

***-I give it 3 Stars

Pros: Its a beautiful shade and I love the sparkle.
Its not sticky

Cons- I feel like the texture is a little wacko. Maybe the glitter bits are too big? And it doesn't have an awesome smell either, just smells like lip gloss, but I wont contribute that to "bad" things about it, because it actually is a great lip gloss...maybe in a different color.

LUSH Review Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar

I'm a little late on this review, as you can see, I've used half of this Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar!! Description reads: Wicked icy hot one for sore muscles. The Wiccy Magic Muscles Bar is the one for sorting out aching muscles. The first time you use one of these, it feels very strange, as if a very small radiator has been turned on inside the part of your body you just massaged. Perfect for exercise. Once you get used to it, you'll start to run just for the pleasure of your Wiccy massage when you get home. Aduki beans work your muscles and aches as the bar is massaged into the skin and they help to break out tension. . Priced at $9.95. I'm almost half way done: The full bar look like this: So basically, What you do, Is massage this bar into your skin. When you do so, this fragrant Cinnamon bar will melt on contact to your skin and become a lotion. The lotion is greasy, but its like massage oil. I wouldn't consider it a con. One CON would be that your skin doesn't absorb it fast.

Growing Addiction

To BRACELETS! My pile of random bracelets I've clutched from different places is slowing-but rapidly growing. I have an amazing obssession for these little babies. Everywhere I go, you'll see me picking one up. They are like a memory, a token. That's why I love them. Plus I love wearing them because they add a little 'spunk' to the outfit. Below I will show you a FEW of my bracelets .. . .

The one below is from the British Virgin Islands

The ones below from H&M :)

The one below from NordStrom :)

This one was from CHarlotte Russe, and reminds me of a dove- my symbol! My bestfriend and I have the same one which is named our 'friendship' bracelet.

TOMS-what's the BIG deal?

TOMS! I've been seeing them everywhere. These very simple slip ons are making its way across the country. These little babies are coming quite a 'trend'.Trend, is in" " because honestly, I've only seen these shoes with the teenage crowd and we all know they dress the same....

Rating?3 stars

Why?

Price and Style. The price can be explained. These neat little slippers bring in proceeds that are used to give kids in need shoes !! So basically, you're buying two pairs of shoes for one...Style is a little ugly. just plan and simple. At first I was shocked about how..weird they looked. But, EVERYONE was wearing them, and who can resist the mainstream influence?

Once you wear them, you get used to it, and the style has grown on me.

Pros?

These shoes GIVE back! LOVE IT! and they are super comfortable!!

Bringing Classy Back.

Hey guys! This is Jenni, Erin's sister and this is my first post on Erin's blog. I've been thinking lately about something interesting I could post about because my sister really wanted me to contribute to Belle Peau. I realized I didn't have to think very hard. For a while, the idea of classiness has been bugging me. What is it exactly and where has it gone? Our society these days seems to lack this idea of 'classiness' significantly; it seems like with each year and each new trend, we're getting farther and farther away from this idea.

I suppose when you first consider what it means to be 'classy' your mind focuses on the British Royal family. It's true. The Royal family is most likely the epitome of class in this day and age. But if you look any farther, in places like the United States for instance, it appears that class has completely and utterly disappeared. Now you go to Miami or L.A and see tramps walking around in short skirts and flashing tattoos on their shoulder blades. You see boys (and I use the word boys on purpose. There's a significant difference between boys and men) with pants hanging below their knees and oversized shirts that say things like 'punk'. When did that become cool? When did the world become so exposed? What happened to boys dressing nice, and girls caring about dignity? There is a limit!

I'm not saying tattoos should be outlawed because they reek of unsanitation and trampiness. No. Some tattoos are really pretty and express individualism. But there's a difference between a delicate tattoo and one that covers your whole body! Tattoos and body piercings make it appear like that person does not care about their appearance at all.
I'm also not saying that there aren't some really classy people and clothes present today. Designers like Chanel, Armani, and Versace practically emanate class.

I really believe that class thrived in the early decades of the 20th century. The 30's up to the 50's were the heyday, no doubt. With characters such as Bette Davis, Vivien Leigh, Ava Gardner, Audrey Hepburn, Princess Grace (and of course the men, James Stewart, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, and we must not forget the men of the 1800's, the Jane Austen period), we are given a role model on which we should all base ourselves. Look back at these marvelous people! Look at how they cared about how they dressed! Look at how they held themselves! With such grace and dignity! The words that trickled out from their lips supported their claim to class, as opposed to the language we commonly use today. When they used curse words, they didn't just drop them like people do today. There was a certain amount of richness in the way they said them.

The 30's had class, and they were in the middle of the Great Depression. So, why can't we have class too? Oh, that's right. Because our morals are backwards.

Sad. Class has died. If you don't believe me, go outside, walk around. Turn on the TV. It's gone. And I believe it's time we bring it back. And yeah, I understand, it seems like only the rich are classy. How can you help bring back class with an empty wallet? It's easy. Be yourself. Care about what you do to your body. Care about what you put on your body. Keep your dignity. Care. Care about yourself, care about others. It's so simple. Find class in yourself. That's my challenge to you.
