It's January and the cold is sweeping in over here! I was wandering through EXPRESS when I found this skirt.

You may not like it but It was my taste, so I bought it. That's one thing kids don't understand. Don't let your mind play tricks on you when those kids glare at you up and down. Its found to be that they liked your outfit. Some people just look mad! Teens buy things modeled after their peers or magazines. Actually, It seems nowadays, the designs and outfits in such magazines as Teen Vogue, or Seventeen, are not really displayed on the many teens at my school. They are to caught up in looking 'normal' not standing out. It has come to my attention kids not only abandon magazine cliche outfits but are trending towards skinny jeans and bright colored tee shirts. Don't get me wrong I used to be like that, and still am, but thanks to my friends Anna, and a little thanks to my friend Thao, I've broken free of the mainstream strain to be 'just like everyone else'. Further more, this outfit is actually pretty simple, and that's what I like. It's me and I won't change.

The necklace- I am pretty sure It's a dove. A symbol of peace.

^ My friend Jenna's 'symbol' is an owl, with which is embroidered and stamped into everything she owns. Her binder, books, purse, bracelets, necklaces, shoes, shirts, and rings. I was inspired to have such a trademark as hers. Plus, hers was cute, and she could draw it on anything.

I love drawing, but I couldn't envision a logo that was a good representation of my character.Well, once I found this necklace, and and some more assembles of 'peace' and dove accessories, I realized my knack for jewelery with such characters wasn't just a coincidence. Well, maybe it was. Either way, It illustrates my well-known peacemaker quality.
